Ray Watson
General Manager / Funeral Director / Preneed Counselor
Ray is a Durham native and has been married to his wife, Karen, for more than 47 years. Together, they have one daughter, Sarah.
Ray worked at IBM for more than 38 years while also serving families at Hudson Funeral Home, where he has been a valued member of the staff for 36 years. A dedicated community servant, Ray is a former member of the Bethesda Volunteer Fire Department, where he also served on the Board of Directors for several years.
Ray is an active member and Treasurer of the Bethesda Ruritan Club. He has been recognized as a Ruritan Forever member and is a recipient of the Ruritan Tom Downing Fellow Award. In 2016, he graduated from the Funeral Director Program at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
