Very special man. I know how important Bill was to my dad Richard and Uncle Stanley. He was always so nice to us kids growing up. Prayers for the family.

Dear Iglehart Family, I’m so sorry about Bill. I met Holly (Philly) at Duke University in 1991, where we both played club softball, wrote poetry and watched the movie Labyrinth over and over. Soon I got to know the whole family and enjoyed a friendship with them for over 25 years. I attended Bill and Ruby’s 50th wedding anniversary - their long, loving relationship is an inspiration. I’m thinking of you all now, especially those I know best: Philly, Robin, Todd and Ruby. Hold tight to each other and remember all the wonderful times you had together. Sending hugs! Love, your friend Kathy Ast-Kutzbach

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Bill and your family all my life - from Stratford Avenue and beyond and I knew the "gang" well. I remember Bill "being there" through thick and thin. I will always remember him as one of my surrogate brothers. You are all in my thoughts.

Ruby, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband Bill. I will never forget his warmth and sincerity. My fondest memory is of you and Bill and your anniversary party.. the way Bill looked at you, and the words he said brought me to tears. The love that you and Bill shared was extraordinary. Bill’s warmth and charm made him a joy to know and impossible to forget. You are in my thoughts,
