Walter Rosenthal

DURHAM, NC – Walter Rosenthal, 91, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018.
Mr. Rosenthal was born February 27, 1927 to the late Ludwig and Helene Rosenthal in Lindburg, Germany. Mr. Rosenthal is a WWII army veteran. He has resided in Durham for the past 30 years. He was a manager/accountant in the finance industry. Mr. Rosenthal enjoyed sports, he bowled a 300 game, he was paid to pitch softball and was very good at Trivia. Mr. Rosenthal was always kind to others, especially elder people.
Mr. Rosenthal is preceded in death by his parents, Ludwig and Helene Rosenthal; a brother, Harry Rosenthal; and a sister, Lilli Najera.
Mr. Rosenthal is survived by his niece, Sheila Tayrose.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Judea Reform Cemetery.
