Trenis Street Bennett

DURHAM- Mrs. Trenis Street Bennett of Bethesda Area, passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
Mrs. Bennett was the daughter of the late James Newton Street and Lillian Blalock Street. One sister, Hazel Blackwood and Evelyn Nichols. Sister-in-law, Jeanette Street. Brother, Bruce Street and J.B. Street.
She was survived by her beloved husband whom she loved dearly, Harold Hunter Bennett, Brother Rev. Tommy Street. Sister-in law, Ruth Street of Timberlake and several nieces and nephews.
She attended Northgate Chapel before she was married. She attended Bethesda Baptist Church where she was a member and worked with the youth group. She was on the Welcome and Fellowship Committee. She was also a Sunday school teacher and choir member.
She was a wedding consultant in Durham and Dickerson, Tennessee, and carried out many weddings which she loved and enjoyed. She was a wonderful friend to many people and loved each one the same.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Hugh O’Shields. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
