Ruth Marie Kay

DURHAM- Ruth Marie Kay, 48, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019.
Ms. Kay was born on May 29, 1970 to John and Nadine Kay in Waukegan, IL. She loved her family and friends, especially her nieces. Ruth loved her Lord and served in two different churches. She loved the North Carolina Mountains and was an avid Tarheel alumni. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Ms. Kay is preceded in death by her father, John William Dixon Kay. She is survived by her mother, Nadine Blair Kay; brother, John M. Kay (Jeannie) of Sumter, SC; sisters, Sarah K. Jordan (Edwin) of Bermuda, Martha K. Pagel (Keith) of Hillsboro, OR; nieces, Kristin Ashley Kay, Allison Elizabeth Kay, Elizabeth Grace Jordan, Anna Kate Pagel, and Elsie Blair Pagel.
