Rickey Young Rigsbee

CREEDMOOR- Mr. Rickey Young Rigsbee, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019.Mr. Rigsbee was born June 10, 1952 to Otis and Margaret Rigsbee in Durham, NC. He loved family, his work, tinkering on things, and riding his John Deer tractor. Rickey was not a man to sit still. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Mr. Rigsbee proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years.Mr. Rigsbee is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Margaret Rigsbee and brother, Jack Rigsbee.Mr. Rigsbee is survived by his wife, Lisa Ferrell Rigsbee; son, Steven Rigsbee (Brittany Kelly); daughters, Becky Haigler (Jamie) of Durham, NC, Jessica Deleon (Jonathan) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; brother, Terry Rigsbee of Timberlake, NC; sisters, Donna Outlaw (Paul Royal) of Alaska, Tina Alvord (Lou) of Alaska; grandchildren, Lainey Haigler, Jacob Haigler, Aria Deleon, Kylie Rigsbee; aunt, Patricia Teasley and uncle, Wallace Rigsbee both of Durham.A visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel.
