Lewis W. Fletcher, Jr.

DURHAM Mr. Lewis “Chuck” W. Fletcher, Jr., 55, of Durham, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018.
Chuck was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. He owned and operated Quality Electric Company. He was a member of Fletchers Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a devoted member and past president of Oak Grove Athletic Association. Chuck was an avid Duke Blue Devil fan and member of the Iron Dukes. He enjoyed spending time at Kerr Lake. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis W. Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth (Liz) O’Donohue Fletcher; sons; Trey Fletcher (Janice) of Raleigh and Corey Fletcher (Amanda) of Colorado Springs, CO; his mother, Patricia Hall Fletcher; sisters, Sandra Lindenmuth (Bill) and Diane Johnson (Tommy); sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Bonhivert of Hurdle Mills; Kathleen O’Donohue of Tennessee, Ann Jefferson (John) of Tucson, AZ, Margaret Hernandez of Creedmoor and Maureen Lafauci (Tom) of Charlotte; brothers-in-law, Tim O’Donohue (Missy) of Gastonia, John O’Donohue of Wake Forest, and Edward O’Donohue (Laura) of Matthews; grandchildren, Kurt and Makaila Cassamajor and Abby Fletcher; 25 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and great-nephews and his devoted dog, Dorcha and grandpup, Kona. He is also survived by past and present employees of Quality Electric, numerous cousins and friends and associates.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 at Durham Memorial Baptist Church. Pastor Clarence Parrish will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
