Jeffrey Scott Ferrell

DURHAM- Mr. Jeffrey Scott Ferrell, 50, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019.

Mr. Ferrell was born January 29, 1968 to Gerald and Laura Ferrell in Durham County, NC. During school, he was a member of the National Honor Society. Mr. Ferrell enjoyed volunteering at blood drives for the city hall employees. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Ferrell is preceded in death by his father Gerald Wayne Ferrell; son, Scott Wayne “Buddy” Ferrell.

Mr. Ferrell is survived by his mother Laura Payne Richardson (Junior); step sister, Lorie Clifton (Kevin) of Timberlake, NC; grandson, Connor James Ferrell of Maryland.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Johnny Godair. Pallbearers will be Brent Ferrell, Gary Ferrell, Timmy Ferrell, Kevin Clifton, John Jones, and Jimmy Rose. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
