Precious Martha & Family: "The faithful man shall abound with blessings" Prov. 28:20a describes Bro. Ezra well. He was faithful to his Lord Jesus, his family and his country. His name in Hebrew meant "help or helper" - that describes him well. He"helped" so many and had the gift of "helps" and a servants heart to "help" others. We enjoyed many sweet conversations with him and we shared his love for fresh garden vegetables and gospel bluegrass music. What a trophy of God's grace he was. So easy to love - loved by many. Heaven became richer when he entered into the gates of glory. As the Evangelist Billy Graham said, "he has just changed addresses and is more alive than ever". We are praying for you in this time of "temporary separation". May God give you incredible strength & grace in your time of grief and may precious memories flood your souls. All our love & prayers, Van & Pam/"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints" Psalm 116:15

Martha, Ronnie and Family, That aren't enough words to tell about what a great neighbor Ezra was to James and I, especially during James' illness and subsequent "Home-going." If there's a plow and seeds in Heaven, they will be up there planting together in their new HOME. Thank God for neighbors like the Layells. My sympathy to all the family.

Martha and Ronnie my thoughts are with you both. Let all the memories of the life you all shared; be the bandages that help to heal your hearts. Don't let your hearts be empty because you can't see him; let it be full of all the love that you all shared. Blessings to you both.
