Edward Allen Goldblatt

ROXBORO- Mr. Edward Allen Goldblatt, 73, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019.

Mr. Goldblatt was born August 21, 1945 to Joseph and Helen Goldblatt in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Beth-El synagogue in Durham, NC. Mr. Goldblatt loved to attend, his grandchildren, Riley and Erin’s gymnastics and dance competitions. He loved walking and participated in several walk-a-thons. He enjoyed woodworking and working in the yard. Mr. Goldblatt proudly served in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve for 30 years.

Mr. Goldblatt is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Helen Goldblatt.

Mr. Goldblatt is survived by his wife, Florence Conner Goldblatt; daughter, Yvonne Grace Goldblatt Howell (Danny) of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Carl Goldblatt, Louis Goldblatt (Sharon) of Bear, Delaware, Morris Goldblatt (Pam) of Wilmington, Delaware, Leonard Goldblatt (Melinda) of Townsend, Delaware, Zalman Goldblatt (Channa Miriam) of Jerusalem, Israel; grandchildren, Riley and Erin Howell.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Durham Hebrew Cemetery. Officiating will be Rabbi Daniel Grayber.
