I've only known Ben for a few years from handling some business for him, he was always such a kind man and I looked forward to seeing him whenever he came to the office. He will sorely be missed. Wonderful man!

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

Ben was one of my very favorite men at NHS. Always a kind smile and happy. I left NHS the summer of 1963 for Valdosta , Georgia. And I many memories of a great time in Durham and the high school . I was saddened to learn about Ben passing on to heaven and I know everyone that knew , loved and cared for him will miss his lovely spirit. May God bless each of you at this time. I am sure that Ben is being blessed in so many wonderful ways. He was such a delight to know. Best, Jane Kern Duncan ( Atlanta, Georgia)
