My heart is full of wonderful memories of Clyde. We enjoyed many great times together in our youth. From playing sports, riding bikes, Putt Putt, playing music, video games and just hanging out. He was always such a great friend and someone for me to look up to. His impact on this world will truly be felt throughout the years. We will see him again soon, just on the other side. God bless you all Bailey family. May God comfort you with His peace. We love you all. Blessings, Pastor Nathan & Chapmon Family

Sister Angie, Sister (Julia) Bailey and the Bailey family, I wanted to offer our sincerest condolences regarding Clyde's absence from your lives, while acknowledging his presence with the Lord. It was a blessing to know and work with Clyde in the vineyard of the Lord at East Durham Church of God when Brother Bailey was pastor there. I know Clyde has positively impacted many people, and during this week alone, this fact I'm sure has never been more apparent. God bless you all.

I hate to know that my family is once again going through a time of loss. Yet I have assurance that they know, it is Heaven's gain and even Clyde's gain. While all this is true, it doesn't make it any easier for my family. So today I pray that God keep all of you and give you comfort and peace of heart as you walk through this time. I always remember growing up, when we were all together, that Clyde was always a fun-loving cousin, maybe because he was closer in age and he was always picking around. (Doesn't mean I love the others any less from Uncle Bernie!!) May you find rest in Jesus today. Praying for that precious, supernatural peace that comes from the Holy Ghost for you that I have personally experienced during times of loss. I love all of you!!!

I met Clyde the in 1977, when the family moved to Reidsville to pastor our church. We immediately became close friends all through my teenage years until the family moved to Durham years later. Clyde was a good friend to me and my brother Nathan. His passing has been a shock to us both. What I remember about Clyde....he was a person who loved life, tried his best to do the right thing and never started trouble of any kind. He loved sports and competition and we had a lot of good times shooting basketball, playing softball, playing backyard football and riding bikes. Friend, you left here way too early, we will miss you on earth, but there is no doubt we will see you again. Until then, Rest Peacefully in God's Hands. -Mark Chapmon

Will miss you on this Earth my brother, but I know you’re rejoicing and no longer in pain as you’ve reached that blessed place you sang about. I’ll never forget our times talking about Carolina sports and playing softball. You made Crissy feel welcomed from the first time you met her and I appreciate that. We Will be in prayer for Angie, Dakota, and Alyssa during this troubled time. Love to you my friend!
