DURHAM- Mr. Clyde Wesley Bailey, 54, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019.

Mr. Bailey was born October 10, 1964 to Reverend Bernie and Julia Bailey in Asheboro, NC. He was a musician and singer, and served his church as the choir director. Mr. Bailey was a Harley rider, loved to fish and golf. He had a heart of gold, especially for children, and loved to help people.

Mr. Bailey is preceded in death by his father Reverend Bernie R. Bailey, Sr.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his mother, Julia B. Bailey; wife, Angela Bailey; son, Dakota Bailey (daughter-in-love, Brittany) of Creedmoor, NC; daughter, Alyssa Bailey of Durham, NC; brothers, James Eston Bailey (Cheryl) of Henderson, NC, Bernie R. Bailey, Jr. (Crystal) of Whitsett, NC; sister, Babbi Moore (Greg) of Eden, NC.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Duke, 9300 Floor.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. at RTP Community Church at 1727 Ed Cook Rd, Durham, NC 27703. Officiating will be Dr. Devon Blanton and Rev. Matthew Gunter. Pallbearers will be Jason Chavis, Joseph Rich, Aaron Williams, Michael Clark, Christopher Moore, and Jeremy Bailey.
