CLARKSVILLE, VA- Mrs. Cecile Grey Tuck Chandler, 72, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.Mrs. Chandler was born June 12, 1946 to the late Alfred and Mabel Tuck in Lynchburg, VA. She worked many years with GTE. Mrs. Chandler was a member of Page Road Baptist Church. She supported her family in the Army and Navy and received an award from the National Guard. She loved flowers. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.Mrs. Chandler is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mabel Tuck; brothers, Manford Tuck, Eugene Tuck, Leo Tuck, Robert Tuck, Ross Tuck and J.B. Tuck; sisters, Frances Waller and Peggy Coats.Mrs. Chandler is survived by her husband, Rick Chandler; son, Michael Edward Chandler (Sandra) of Fresno, CA, Teresa Chandler of Mebane, NC; brother, Rev. Russell Tuck of Lynchburg, VA; sister, Dale Thompson (David) of Lynchburg, VA; grandson, Corey Chandler; great grandchildren, Bryanna Jolly and Christopher Lutz.A visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Michael Bond and Rev. Russell Tuck.
