Betty Jane Teer Ringwood

HILLSBOROUGH- Ms. Betty Jane Teer Ringwood, 73, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Duke University Hospital.
Ms. Ringwood was born April 11, 1945 to the late Herbert and Grace Teer in Alamance County, NC. She was a housekeeper with B&S Cleaning Service for many years. Ms. Ringwood loved to shop and babysit her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Ms. Ringwood is survived by her sons, Richard Cates, Sr. (Tammy) of Oxford, NC, Jimmy Cates (Hillsborough) and Wayne Jerald “Jerry” Davis, Jr. (Cynthia) of Reidsville, NC; daughter, Patricia Cates Cox of Durham, NC; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Michael Gross.
