Wilma was born on August 31, 1938 to Helen Denning Partin in Wake County, NC. She worked at IBM for 14 years and attended Gospel Church in Durham, NC. Before her husband passed, Wilma loved spending her weekends out on the boat with her husband and family fishing at Atlantic Beach. She was known for keeping a house that was warm and welcome, filled with love for so many special people.
In 2019, our Mom discovered through Ancestory.com her sister, Jane Carden-Tago, along with many other family members. Though only in her life for a short time, Jane meant so much to our Mother. Jane and her daughter Michelle came to visit, creating everlasting memories that we will all cherish.
More recently, Our Mom enjoyed her weekly breakfasts on Saturday mornings with Carolyn (sister-in-law) at the Golden Corral, Said and Sally made these mornings fun and extra special. She loved to share funny stories, reminiscing on memories made with her family over the years. She truly loved the life she had lived and was an inspiration. She will be missed by so many.
