William Thomas Weaver

WEAVERDURHAM Mr. William Thomas Weaver, 82, of 1705 Mason Road, died on Monday, September 13, 2010. He was a much loved Husband, Father and Grandfather.Mr. Weaver was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Oscar Marion Weaver and Myrtle Brown Weaver. He served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mallie M. Weaver; one son, Eric Weaver of Durham; three daughters, Susan Masingo and husband, Lewis of Maryville, Tenn.; Pamela Weaver of Greensboro and Vickie Weaver of Rock Hill, S.C.; brother, Carson Weaver of Charlotte and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Daniel Walters. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. before the service at the church.
