CREEDMOOR Mr. William Lonnie Cherry Jr., 65, of Creedmoor passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017, after a brief illness.
Mr. Cherry was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late William Lonnie Cherry, Sr. and Pearlese Porter Cherry. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars; loved animals and outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Andy Cherry and wife, Denise; brother, Edward Cherry and wife, Anna; grandchildren, Josh Cherry and wife, Shane, and Rebecca Dickhoff and husband, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ayden Cherry, Nathan Cherry, Emma Price and Brayden Dickhoff.
