William Philip “Phil” Hille

Mr. William “Phil” Philip Hille, 73, passed away on April 8, 2022.

Phil was born August 9, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Horst William and Ruth Violet Britland Hille. Mr. Hille was a longtime faithful and very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Phil was an extremely committed member of the Lions Club for over 37 years, as he served in many capacities. He also was involved in the Boy Scouts, where he served as an Adult Leader.

Phil knew how to get things done, often taking the lead in a situation and easing peoples mind with his intelligence and demeanor. He was a great multi-tasker. Phil was incredibly committed, a man of his word. He will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.

Phil is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sharyn Hille; sons, Michael White, Robert Hille (Kristina), and Daniel Hille; brother, Mark Hille; sisters, Carol Gleeson, Laura Wilent (Don), and Lina Eddy (John); grandson, Dax Hille; as well as other loving family members.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Jill King officiating. A committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Lafayette Memorial Park.
