Wendy Basden Rigsbee

DURHAM Mrs. Wendy Basden Rigsbee, 48, of Durham, died on Friday, January 15, 2015.
Wendy was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She was employed with Auto Zone. She loved her family, the beach and was a people person. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Richardson Paul.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, David Rigsbee; her father, Larry C. Basden; three sons, Ashton Myers, Adam Myers and David Rigsbee, Jr.; two daughters, Cassie Myers and Jessica Rigsbee; stepson, Brian House; step-daughter, Sherry Sargent; half-brother, Josh Paul; two step-brothers, Dwayne High and Bobby Wayne High; 7 grandchildren, Mikayla Crumbley, Caleb Myers, Kailee Myers, Aidan Myers, T. J. Sargent, Zane Sargent and Bentley Sargent.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Donnie Cash will officiate. Entombment will be in the Brier Creek Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ashton Myers, 2456 S. Alston Ave. Flowers are acceptable.
