Wanda Lou Godwin

DURHAM Mrs. Wanda Lou Godwin, 69, of Durham, died on Saturday, April 7, 2018.
Mrs. Godwin was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Udie Webster Baker and Maggie Mae Elliott Baker. She was a homemaker and a great cook who enjoyed hosting cookouts. She had a big heart and was mother to everyone. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Godwin; son, James Holsclaw; daughter, Shelby Jean Rigsbee and sisters, Lucy Childers and Joyce Holt.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Godwin; brothers, William Baker (Kim) and Rufus Page Baker; grandchildren, April Rigsbee, CJ Rigsbee, Cheyenne Godwin, Alisa Godwin and Colton James Godwin; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
