Years ago, Vivian asked a CARPENTER to build her a home. On April 23, 2023, the MASTER CARPENTER the LORD JESUS CHRIST, called Vivian Ann Riggs, 79, of Roxboro NC to her finished mansion in Heaven made with HIS nail scarred hands. She was born June 9, 1943, in Durham, NC to the late Pervis and Hettie Clayton.
Mrs. Riggs graduated from Southern High School. Vivian retired as a Secretary for the Department of Social Services in Durham County after many years of dedicated service.
Vivian was an avid reader, who loved to cook and especially enjoyed going to Minnesott Beach. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, kindness to others and being a loving mother, wife, sister and aunt. Vivian will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched over the years.
Vivian is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Lee Roy Riggs and brothers, Wallace Clayton and Bobby Maynard Clayton.
Mrs. Riggs is survived by her loving daughter Susan Eden Riggs; brother, Jerry Clayton (Marian); sister-in- law, Claire Clayton and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give Special Thanks to Tim Riggs and Yvette Lynne Rogers for lovingly taking such great care of Vivian for the last 11 months.
