Vincent Martino

DURHAM- Vincent Martino 96 years young of Durham, NC, formally of Clarksburg, WV, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2018 after a brief illness.

Vince, also known as “Paul” or “the Governor” to his friends at Hillandale Golf Course, was a golfer up until his death. He was also a WWII veteran serving as Army Ranger in the Asian Theater.

Vince is survived by his daughter, Kathy of Durham; son, Paul and wife Melissa of Mobile AL; grandchildren, Noah and Victoria Martino of Mobile AL; sisters, Virginia and Thresia of Washington D.C.; many nieces and nephews, and many “family” members at Hillandale Golf Course.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Mary Lou Titchenal Martino; parents, Salvatore and Victoria Martino; eight brothers and three sisters.

A private family graveside service will be held in West Virginia at a later date.
