Tyree Wayne McGhee

DURHAM Mr. Tyree Wayne McGhee, 67, of Durham, died on Monday, July 11, 2011.Mr. McGhee was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Tyree and Elizabeth Rigsbee McGhee. He retired after 25 years from IBM Corp. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 687. He was an avid golfer with the IBM Golf League. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Moss McGhee; two sons, Gregory Wayne McGhee and wife, Sherry of Creedmoor and Patrick Shaun. McGhee and wife, Kara of Rocky Mount; one daughter, Teresa Sharyn McGhee and companion, Jackie Spivey of Mebane; one brother, Charles Edward McGhee; three grandchildren, Zachary Wayne McGhee, Gregory Ryan McGhee and Trinity Erin McGhee; Aunt, Patricia Rigsbee Teasley and Uncle, Wallace Rigsbee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
