Truitt Evans Early

DURHAM Mr. Truitt Evans Early, 66, of Durham, died on Tuesday, June 03, 2014.
Mr. Early was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired after 30 years from IBM Corporation, traveling all over the world. He was a member of Hope Valley Baptist Church. He loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon E. Early.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Early Troutman of Boone; two sisters, Louverne Fuller (Jerry) of Boone and Theresa Farber of California.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Saluda, SC. Rev. Dennis Campbell and Rev. Jerry Fuller will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 204 Sardis Road, Saluda, SC 29138.
