Timothy John “Flounder” Lassiter

DURHAM- Timothy “Flounder” John Lassiter, 53, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 surrounded by loving family and friends.
Mr. Lassiter was born on February 17, 1966 to Jackie and Laura Lassiter in Durham, NC. Timothy enjoyed fishing, round track racing, and was an avid North Carolina Basketball fan. He loved fishing on the Carolina Princess in Morehead, NC. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Mr. Lassiter was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Laura Lassiter, and brother, Jack “Buck” Lassiter. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Alane Lassiter of Greenville, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at West Durham Pentecostal Church. Officiating will be Reverend Josh Mickle and Reverend Joel Mickle. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
