Thomas Kennedy “Tommy” Guess

DURHAM- Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Kennedy Guess, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Mr. Guess was born on February 9, 1946 to Dewey and Alice Guess in Durham, NC. Tommy enjoyed building and drag racing cars. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his nephews, Trevor and Travis. Tommy will be lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.

Mr. Guess was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Alice Guess; wife, Mary Etta Guess; and nephew, Trevor Guess. He is survived by his step-daughter, Lisa O’Quinn (Stephen); brother, Tracy Guess; step-grandchildren, Nia Canady (Larry) and Wesley O’Quinn; step-great-grandson, Quinn Canady; nephew, Travis Guess (Erin); and close friends, Charlie Hemphill, Doug Tucker, and Danny Mason.

No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Safe Haven for Cats at 8431 Garvey Dr #137, Raleigh, NC 27616.
