Thelma Pate

DURHAM-Mrs. Thelma Herring Pate, 81, of Durham died on Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Albert Herring and Eva Tucker Herring. Mrs. Pate was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Carter, one son, Buddy Carter, one daughter, Carol Pearce and one great-great grandson, Braxton Pearce.She is survived by her daughter, Donna Olive (John) of Durham; one brother Colon Sullivan of Mt. Olive; one sister, Essie Barwick of Mt. Olive; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.Private Graveside Service will be at a later date.
