Tessie Richard

CHAPEL HILL- Mrs. Tessie Johnson Richard, 98, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020.

Mrs. Richard was born on June 19, 1921 to Sonny and Sis Johnson in Wake County, NC. She was a member of Assembly of God Church. Tessie will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by her parents, Edward (Sonny) and Narcissi (Sis) Johnson; husband, Howard Richard; son, Jerry Wayne Richard; daughter, Patsy Ann Richard; all of her siblings, and grand-daughter, Robin Riggsbee Taylor. She is survived by her grandchildren, Theresa Riggsbee Silsby, Jerry Wayne Richard, and Michael Wayne Richard; and great-grandchildren (Kevin, Eric, Emily, Adam, and Michael) and 3 great-great grandchildren.
