Terry Daniel Thompson

Terry Daniel Thompson, born on September 26, 1948, to Daniel and Margaret McDaniel Thompson, passed peacefully from this life to be reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Martha Satterthwaite Thompson.

Terry is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Wanda Banker and her husband Russell, and Michelle Lunsford; his sister, Joyce Steward, and her husband Jim; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Martha, with whom he now rests.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, located at 3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC. Reverend Hugh O'Shields will officiate.

Terry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, and the joking humor that brought laughter to so many moments in our lives.
