Ted Mack Fowler

Ted Mack Fowler, 74, of Durham passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at his home. He was born in Durham on April 24, 1951, to the late Arnold O. and Edna O’Neal Fowler.

Mr. Fowler is survived by second wife, Sandy Fowler and current girlfriend Amy Welch; son, Jerry W. Fowler and wife Amy of Durham; daughter, Lauren F. O’Neill and husband James of Stem, NC; brothers, Jerry Fowler and wife Pam of Durham and Wayne Fowler of Durham; sister, Carolyn Pickett; grandson, Jameson O’Neill; nephew, Nick Fowler, son of Jerry and Pam; niece, Karen Fowler, daughter of Wayne and Carolyn.

Mr. Fowler is preceded in death by his first wife Donna Allen.

Mr. Fowler was the owner and operator of TMF Auto Sales in Durham. He loved his family dearly and was a devoted “Paw-Paw” to his grandson Jameson. He cherished time spent at his home on Kerr Lake, especially hosting his annual pig pickings. Mr. Fowler was also a motorcycle and car enthusiast, particularly fond of fast Harleys and Chevrolets.

A visitation will be held on Sunday November 16, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Craig Phelps.
