CREEDMOOR- Mrs. Sue Ann Tripp, 74, passed away peacefully in her daughter’s home in Stem on Sunday, November 24, 2019.
Mrs. Tripp was born on May 16, 1945 to George and Edna Perry in Durham, NC. Sue Ann lived in Creedmoor with her husband, Lewis Tripp. Sue Ann enjoyed the outdoors and working in her garden. She loved birds and the people within her community. Sue Ann never met a stranger and was considered a generous and loving woman. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Tripp was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Kevin Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Tripp; daughter, Gina Chappell; step-son, Jeffrey Tripp; granddaughter, Christina Harris; grandson, Nolan Stanhope; grandson-in-law, Kenneth Harris; step-granddaughters, Lila Tripp, and Ava Tripp; and great-grandchildren, Noah Harris, and Genevieve Harris.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at South Granville Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Dean Padgett.
