Steven Ray Medlin

DURHAM- Mr. Steven Ray Medlin, 75, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

Mr. Medlin was born on October 28, 1945 to Edward and Gertrude Medlin in Durham, NC. Steven worked as a Civil Engineer Inspector. His wife owned B&S Cleaning Services for 40 years and Steven helped her for 20 years there. During his free-time he enjoyed tennis, coon hunting, and horseback riding. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Medlin was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gertrude Medlin; brothers, Jack and Wayne Medlin; and sisters, Carol Carter, Dora Wilson, and Betty Bullock.

Mr. Medlin is survived by his wife, Betty Dickerson Medlin; son, Donald Ray Medlin; daughter, Candy Jean Medlin; brother, Eddie Medlin; and grandchildren, Eric Patrick Young Medlin, and Robben Walter Steven Medlin.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Tim Wheeler. Entombment to follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
