Steven Glenn Clayton

DURHAM Mr. Steven Glenn Clayton, 55, of 1816 Fletchers Chapel Road, died on Friday, September 12, 2014.
Mr. Clayton was born in Person County. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He was an avid Carolina fan and loved NASCAR. He was preceded by his mother, Patricia Shepard Clayton; paternal grandparents, John and Tassie Clayton; maternal grandparents, Ellis and Hettie Shepard and brother, Tim Anderson.
He is survived by his father, Charles W. “Buck” Clayton and friend, Donna Gullie; sister, Donna Harris of Roxboro.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Tim McCreight and Rev. Herbert Brown will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his father, Buck Clayton, 2523 Burton Road. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to a charity of choice.
