Sheila Cay Lawrence

LAWRENCECLAYTON Mrs. Sheila Cay Lawrence, 56, of 129 W. Alex, Clayton died on Friday, June 10, 2011, after a 18 month battle with cancer.She was a native of Durham. Sheila was a generous and kind person, always thinking of others. She retired from the Social Security Administration after 30 years of service.She is survived by her husband, Lonnie J. Hicks; her parents, Bobby and Betty Lawrence; one brother, Scott Lawrence (Carolyn); one sister, Suzanne Shields (Eric); two nieces, Paige Shields and Kaitlan Lawrence; one nephew, Skyler Shields and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Dr. Marc Frances.
