Sanda Aubry Bivins

Mr. Sanda A. Bivins, 82, of Durham, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. He was born in Durham, NC on September 17, 1943 to the late Howard and Ruby Bivins.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his three brothers, Troy Bivins, Ronald Bivins and Roger Bivins.

Mr. Bivins was a hard-working man. He was a mold maker for Owens- Illinois Glass Company for many years as well as a farmer. He loved horses, repairing farm equipment and providing for his family. Sam was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and everyone blessed to have known him.

Mr. Bivins is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Geraldine Bivins; son, Tracy Bivins (Malisa); daughter, Dede Bivins (Bobby Pleasant); grandchildren, Aidan Moore, Teagan Moore, Gracie Bivins, Sara Bivins and other loving family members.
