Ruth Sanders Cash

Ruth Sanders Cash, 81, of Raleigh. North Carolina passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at Swift Creek Health Center in Cary, NC. She was born in Durham on March 19, 1944, to the late Bruce and Alma Sanders.

She is survived by her husband Linwood Cash; son Doug Carlisle and wife Angel of Durham; daughter Denise Carisle and husband Gerhard Pilcher of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley Wentz (Brooks), Bryce Pilcher (Marissa), Chase Pilcher (Bonnie), Dylan Carlisle (Martha), and Lauren Interiano (Darwin); great grandchildren, Addison Wentz, Drake Wentz, Wrenley Pilcher, Henry Pilcher, and Lukas Interiano; sisters Cathy Batten (Jeff), Lenna Warren (Norman) and Becky Freeman (Tommy); sister-in-law, Faye Cavalchire; niece, Kristi Bidwell.

Mrs. Cash loved her family dearly. She found great joy in working in her yard and caring for her flowers. She was employed for several years with Security Savings and Loan at the Bethesda Branch and later served as an Administrative Secretary for the John Deere Corporation. Mrs. Cash was a devoted member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she was active in the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

The family would also like to express their appreciation to caregivers Nazz Brown; all the staff at Swift Creek Health Center, Ruth’s nurse Mariah at Transitions Life Care, Faye Cavalchire and Kristi Bidwell for their loving and professional care they provide to Ruth during her journey.

A visitation will be held on Monday November 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Dane Hadley.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Carlisle, Bryce Pilcher, Chase Pilcher, Darwin Interiano, Brooks Wentz and Gerhard Pilcher.

Flowers are acceptable.
