Ronald Lee Montgomery

FRANKLINTON- Ronald Lee Montgomery, 65, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.
Mr. Montgomery was born on November 18, 1954 to Carl and Phyllis Montgomery in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was the previous owner of Top Coat Powder Company of Raleigh for many years before working for Storr Office Environments. Ronnie was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, and he and Pattie were members of the Raleigh Moose Lodge. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and was a fan of Duke football and NC State. Ronnie was a wonderful family man; he was great at handy work and loved to play cards. Ronnie never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. He was always willing to help anyone in need.
Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Phyllis Montgomery; and his brothers, Carl “Big C” Montgomery, and Michael Montgomery. He is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Pattie Sue Montgomery; son, Jonathan Montgomery of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Terry Montgomery (Rhonda) of Ohio, Randall Montgomery (Mun) of Raleigh, NC, and David Montgomery of Ohio; sisters, JoAnn Manley (Michael) of Pennsylvania, and Judy Karl (Allen) of Ohio; and grandson, Tysor Montgomery.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Gray Little and Reverend Jonathan Barbee. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home.
