Ronald Thomas Dorman June 07, 1952 – June 30, 2024  

Ronald Thomas Dorman, 72, of 5719 Willow Dr., Durham, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 30, 2024. 

He was born June 07, 1952, in Dunn, NC to the late Thomas Edwin Dorman and Jacqueline Messer Dorman. In addition to his parents, Ronnie is also preceded in death by his second wife Penny Dorman, and his sister, Janet Lemmons. 

Ronnie graduated from Durham High School. He loved sports, especially football and baseball. He enjoyed playing chess and playing jokes. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling and friend.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lee Dorman and son, Ronald Thomas Dorman Jr. from his first marriage to Chris. He is also survived by; sister, Jennie Thomas; brother, Tony (Wendy) Dorman; sister, Iris Ellner; grandchildren, Danielle, Michelle, Heather, Tiffany, Melissa, Jacob, Michael, Dustin, Derrek, and Dexter; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Juniper, Dylan, and Gwendolyn; and other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 4 o’clock.
