Roger O’Dell Dolinger

OXFORD Mr. Roger O’Dell Dolinger, 66, of 6089 Zachary Lane, died on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Mr. Dolinger was born in Smythe County, Virginia, to the late Glen O’Dell Dolinger and Aggie Belle Eller Dolinger. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. He retired from Duke Regional Hospital in Telecommunications. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nola Ann Dolinger. He is survived by two daughters, Christina Elaine MacCrae and Cheryl Lynn Dolinger; two sisters, Connie White, Alice Vaughan and two grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in South Granville Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
