DURHAM Mr. Rodney Cecil Roberts, Sr. 62, of Durham., died on January 3, 2013.Mr. Roberts was born in Durham to the late Fred Thomas Roberts and Frances Lorraine“Sis” Pendergraft Roberts. He loved fishing, grilling and Shagging.He is survived by his son; Rodney Cecil Roberts of Durham; brother, Thomas Earl Roberts of Durham; Aunt and Uncle; Catherine and J. M. Utley and extended family Cathy Riggsbee and son, Landon Riggsbee of Durham.A memorial service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jack Moody. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Catherine and J.M. Utley, 4501 Lumley Rd, Durham.
