Roderick Dewayne “Buck” Dennis

DURHAM Roderick Dewayne “Buck” Dennis, age 49, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at his home in Henderson. He was preceded in death by his father, Claiborne Dennis, Jr. He was employed by Nortel and Duke University. Buck enjoyed playing with his grandson; gardening; playing golf, cards, and PlayStation; and watching television, including The Deadliest Catch. He was also lucky at playing sweepstakes.

Mr. Dennis is survived by his mother, Betty Hall; stepfather, George Hall; daughters, Angela Dennis, Amber Dennis, Krista Dennis, and Carla Dennis; brother, Brian Hall; and grandson, Trevor Dennis.
