Robert Wayne Wynne

DURHAM Mr. Robert Wayne Wynne, 63, of Durham, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015.

Mr. Wynne was a native and lifelong resident of Durham He served in the U. S. Army Reserves and was a retired self-employed HVAC Technician. He was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid NC State fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Wynne, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Joan O. Wynne; his mother, Barbara P. Wynne of Durham; two sons, Robert Wayne “Robbie” Wynne, Jr. and Albert Wesley Wynne both of Durham; daughter, Angela Starr Ware (Christopher) of Henderson; one sister, Patricia Ann Watkins (Michael) of Stem; grandchildren, Amber Ware and Jordan Wynne.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Following his cremation the family will hold a private scattering service.  Please omit flowers.  Online condolences may be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
