Robert Ray Bizzell

DURHAM- Robert Ray Bizzell, 85, of Durham passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Prince Gordon Bizzell and Carrie Underwood Bizzell. Robert served in the US Air Force. Robert was a member of Gorman Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Slaughter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eveline Bizzell; children, Carolyn Turner, (Jim) Debra Harris (Darrell), Robert Ray Bizzell, Jr. (Krista), Cynthia Ray (Tim), Kim Adcock (Raye); brothers, Ralph Bizzell and Paul Bizzell; sisters, Doris Lynn, Linda Register and Mary Kyles; grandchildren, April Green, Cristina Carroll, DJ Harris, Tiffany Butler, Kyle Cook, Jessie Rich, Josh Rich, and Austin Adcock; great-grandchildren, Noah Green, Lindsey Green, Lela Carroll, Jaxon Carroll, Colton Butler, and Abigail Rich. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Gorman Baptist Church.
