Robert Franklin Rosen

DURHAM-Robert Franklin Rosen, 76, was born on October 23, 1939 in New York, NY. He was the son of the late Jacob and Lisa Rosen.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Rosen Merlis and husband Eric of Boston; son, Andrew Rosen and wife Merav of Kiryat Ono, Israel; his grandchildren, Dvir and Koral Rosen, Emily and Zoey Merlis; brother, Alan Rosen of Maplewood, NJ; and four nieces.
Member of the New York, Washington, DC and Virginia Bar. He was a lawyer, businessman and volunteered for causes that mattered to him. He had a deep knowledge of history, enjoyed discussing politics, and appreciated music and arts. Robert was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery. Rabbi Bach officiating.
