Rex Leonard Warren, Sr.

Mr. Rex Leonard Warren, Sr., 71, passed away March 20, 2023.

Rex was born January 18, 1952, in Sanford, NC to the late Henry Lee and Lela Bryant Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Warren, and sisters, Ruby Coley and Betty Jane Warren.

Mr. Warren was born and raised in Sanford, NC, he then later moved to Creedmoor where he lived for 19 years. Rex worked as a Truck Driver with Nello L. Teer for many years. He will be remembered as a loving, husband, father, and brother.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Annie Warren; son, Rex Leonard Warren, Jr.; daughters, Annie Menjvar (Abdul) and Betty Sherrard (Daniel); brothers, Jerry Warren (Marlyn) and Benny Warren; and sisters, Dorothy Gillette and Teresa Warren; as well as numerous grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rex Warren Jr., Bradley Tucker, Daniel Sherrard, Tyson Johnson, Jordan Dean, and Wyatt Warren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Stanley Kirby. Burial will follow at South Granville Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are acceptable.
