Regan entered this life on May 23, 1984. A beautiful little girl with the brightest blue eyes ever seen. At age 3, Regan was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, Rett Syndrome, causing a regression that took her speech, motor skills, and ability to walk. Her life was a special one! She never lost the ability to enjoy so many things on this Earth. She loved to ride (a lot)! She was taken to the beach, mountains, and out to eat. She was blessed to be cared for full time with her mother and family, who knew however difficult her care became she was a blessing in their lives. Her life here was celebrated every day!
Regan is survived by her loving mother, Rita Gordon; her dedicated stepfather, Gary Gordon; her father, William Welch, Jr.; her brother, Carson Welch; and many cousins.
A private family remembrance will be planned at a later date.
