Creedmoor

Ralf U. Mueller, 69, of Creedmoor, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

Born on February 26, 1957, in Germany, Ralf built a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. He was known for his generous heart, quiet strength, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Ralf was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diana L. Mueller, whose memory he cherished every day. Following Diana's passing, Ralf devoted himself to raising their son, David. As a dedicated stay-at-home father, he made it his mission to provide a loving home and ensure David received a Christian education. His unwavering commitment to his family was one of his greatest accomplishments.

A man of strong Christian faith, Ralf was an active member of Bible Baptist Church, where he faithfully served alongside his church family. He also volunteered with the Durham Rescue Mission, always looking for ways to help others and live out his faith through service.

Ralf loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was four-wheeling, fishing, working on cars, or tackling projects around the house, he found joy in staying busy and using his hands to fix, build, and improve whatever needed attention. He was the kind of person friends and family could always count on when something needed to be repaired or when a helping hand was needed.

He is survived by his son, David Mueller; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Bell and Chris Lewis; his cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Makayla, Logan, Blake, and Isabella; his great-grandson, Brayden; along with extended family, dear friends, and his church family, all of whom will miss him greatly.

Ralf leaves behind a legacy of faith, dedication, compassion, and love. His life was a testament to serving God, caring for his family, and helping others without expecting anything in return. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation for the many prayers, acts of kindness, and support shown during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hudson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Ralf will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Diana, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, where they will be reunited in eternal peace.

May he rest in peace.
