Paul Douglas Ware, Sr.

DURHAM- Mr. Paul Douglas Ware, Sr., 64, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Mr. Ware was born on September 7, 1955 to Paul and Ludie Louise Ware in Durham, NC. Paul loved fishing and being at the beach. He enjoyed working on his antique car and riding his motorcycle. Paul will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie Ware; and sisters, Mary Jenkins, and Deborah Byrd. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ware; sons, Ronnie Freeman (Dottie) of Hurdle Mills, NC, and Paul Ware, Jr. of Franklinton, NC; daughter, Pamela Williamson (Edward) of Rougemont, NC; sisters, JoAnne Miller of Greensboro, NC, Paulette Jenkins of Durham, NC, and Patricia Parker of Durham, NC; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Hugh O’Shields. Pallbearers will be Joe Nucilli, Matt Long, Thomas Scoggins, Eddie Glenn, Michael Rigsbee, and Robert Blake. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
