HILLSBOROUGH- Mrs. Patricia Stokes Clayton, 71, passed away on July 6, 2021.

Mrs. Clayton was born May 7, 1950 to Frances (Tyndall) Young of Durham, NC and the late William Young. Mrs. Clayton was a member of the Orange County Red Hatters group for 17 years. She enjoyed being a part of a sisterhood that traveled together and lived life together. Patricia loved traveling to Emerald Isle Beach. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren and family, as well as going on family vacations.

Patricia is survived by her mother, Frances (Tyndall) Young; son, Michael Stephens (Sally); brothers, Bill Young (Donna), Ernie Young and Wayne Young; sister, Phyllis Harrison; grandchildren, Alissa Barnard (Dakota) and Barry Vachula; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Bullins and Willow Barnard; niece, Tracey Harrison.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Hugh O’Shields.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Processing Center, PO Box 863765 Orlando, Florida 32886.
