Patricia Duke Beck

DURHAM- Mrs. Patricia Duke Beck, 72, passed away, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Beck was born June 30, 1948 to the late Elbert and Twila Duke in Durham, NC at Watts Hospital. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at the VA Hospital. Mrs. Beck was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, jewelry making, sewing and working with stained glass. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother (Nene).

Mrs. Beck is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Twila Duke; sister, Judy Stanaland.

Mrs. Beck is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Beck; son, Jim Beck (Cissy); grandchildren, Bailey Beck, Lexi Beck and Riley Beck; sisters-in-law’s, Sybil Beck and Faye Washington (Don); cousin Jewel Drye and numerous other cousins and relatives.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Earl Echols.
